GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP

SMPK 2 Harapan is committed to developing global education through international collaboration, cultural exchange, and innovative learning experiences. The school continuously creates opportunities for students to interact with international communities and broaden their perspectives beyond the classroom.

STUDENTS EXCHANGE

  • AUSTRALIA STUDENT EXCHANGE- JOHN SEPTIMUS ROE ANGLICAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL

John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School is one of the international partner schools of Yayasan Perguruan Kristen Harapan (YPKH) through a student exchange and cultural collaboration program. This partnership provides students with opportunities to experience international learning, improve communication skills, explore cultural diversity, and build global friendships through educational and cultural activities. Each year, SMPK 2 Harapan sends one selected student to represent the school unit in the student exchange program with John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School. The selected student joins other representatives from different educational units under Yayasan Perguruan Kristen Harapan (YPKH) to participate in international learning experiences, cultural exchange activities, and global friendship programs. This valuable opportunity helps students develop confidence, leadership, communication skills, and broader international perspectives.

  • PEN PALS – JSR AUSTRALIA

SMPK 2 Harapan also conducts a Pen Pals program with students from John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School. Through this program, some students exchange letters to share their cultural stories to build international friendships and improve their English communication skills. The Pen Pals program provides students with opportunities to learn about Australian culture, school life, and daily activities while sharing Indonesian culture and traditions. This meaningful interaction helps students become more confident, open-minded, and globally connected learners.
